When a family submits their contact details through your estimator, you receive an email notification straight away. Here’s how to control who gets notified and what happens when you need to resend. To configure your notifications, go to Settings → Notifications.

Notification recipients

Add the email addresses of everyone who should receive lead notifications when a family submits an enquiry. You can add as many addresses as you need — every recipient gets the same notification at the same time.
1

Go to Settings → Notifications

Find the Notification Recipients section.
2

Add an email address

Enter the address and click Add Recipient. Repeat for each person who should be notified.
3

Save

Click Save Changes to confirm.
Use a shared or monitored inbox rather than a single person’s email address — that way leads don’t go unnoticed when someone is away.

What the notification includes

Each notification email contains:
  • Family’s name, email address, and phone number (if they provided one)
  • Their preferred contact method (email or phone)
  • Any notes they added before submitting
  • Their full estimate breakdown — every category, the option they selected, quantities, and the price for each item
  • The estimate subtotal, GST, and total
You’ll have everything you need to make an informed first call without asking them to repeat themselves.

Branch-specific notifications

If you have multiple locations configured, each branch can have its own notification recipients. When a family selects a specific branch during their estimate, the notification goes to that branch’s recipients rather than (or in addition to) the main list. This keeps enquiries routed to the right team without anyone having to forward emails. To configure branch notifications, go to Settings → Branches, select a branch, and look for the Notification Recipients section within that branch’s settings.

Staff-specific notifications

If you have staff profiles set up and a family mentions a specific staff member during their enquiry, that staff member will receive the notification directly — provided they have a notification email address configured on their profile.

Resending a notification

If someone on your team missed the original email, you can resend it from the enquiry detail page.
1

Open the enquiry

Go to Enquiries in the sidebar and click View on the relevant enquiry.
2

Click Resend Notification

This button is in the top-right corner of the enquiry detail page.
3

Confirm

The notification is resent to all current recipients in your notification settings.
You can resend a notification up to 3 times per enquiry per day.

If you’re not receiving notifications

Check your spam or junk folder. Notification emails are sent from a funeralestimatorpro.com address — add it to your contacts or safe senders list to make sure future emails reach your inbox.
If notifications still aren’t arriving after checking spam:
  1. Confirm the recipient email addresses in Settings → Notifications are correct
  2. Send a test enquiry through your live estimator to trigger a new notification
  3. If the problem persists, contact us at support@funeralestimatorpro.com and we can check the delivery logs
